Kolkata Lines on the CEC Call

On the Wire
- 4 Oct, ANI, Kolkata: West Bengal minister Dilip Ghosh says individuals “lacking political maturity” stage stunts, put others forward, and use social media for headlines. He says nothing will come of the protest and cites a void in the opposition.
- 3 Oct, Kolkata airport: Mamata Banerjee, after an INDIA bloc meeting in Delhi, tells reporters the party is “fully supporting” the Cockroach Janta Party, young people, and students, and asks that “atrocities” stop.
"Certain people, individuals lacking political maturity or any real contribution, stage these stunts by putting others forward and using social media to grab headlines; but nothing is going to come of it."
"We are fully supporting the Cockroach (Janta) Party and all the young generation and students. And my humble request, please stop these atrocities."
