As heavy monsoon rains poured over Central Delhi, over 1,200 student volunteers and citizens refused police orders to clear the pavement, holding a night-long silent sit-in.
Community Support & Mobile Kitchens
- Gurudwara & Volunteer Langar: Local volunteer groups and Delhi Sikh Youth collectives set up emergency warm tea and meal distribution stalls, providing hot meals to wet and weary students.
- Waterproof Tarps: Volunteers erected temporary plastic tarpaulins over sleeping mats to safeguard sound systems, banners, and medical supplies.
