Field Visit After Official Toll
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke spent 12–13 September in Balaghat district, Madhya Pradesh, meeting Baiga and Gond families after a measles-malaria-malnutrition cluster among children.
Official tallies have ranged from eight (early administration count) to about 36. Dipke posted that locals put the number higher and said 86 children were hospitalised after tribal protests.

Satire Resignation
On 13 September Dipke posted a mock letter resigning as "Chief Minister of MP," thanking the Prime Minister and tagging the Governor. Actual CM remains Mohan Yadav. Co-convenor Saurav Das amplified the post as political satire aimed at accountability, not a real office-holder change.

Centre and state say no single pathogen: measles, malaria, co-infection, respiratory distress, dehydration, anaemia, shock. Screening expanded; extra MR doses and nutrition rehab reported. MP High Court has sought a state reply on a PIL citing roughly 25 deaths in Birsa/Baihar blocks.
