Delhi High Court Issues Notices in Deepfake Circulation Plea
The Delhi High Court on 25 September issued notices to Cockroach Janta Party leaders Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, Ashutosh Ranka and Ratna Singh.
A woman petitioner alleged her photograph was harvested during CJP protests at Jantar Mantar and morphed via AI face-swap onto a vulgar image alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

- Meta Platforms directed to take down the objectionable content within 24 hours.
- Delhi Police to provide complete protection to the petitioner.
- Petitioner to disclose current address to the IO present in court.
