Seven-Point Charter After Hostel Daze Collapse
Cockroach Janta Party official handle and co-convener Saurav Das issued a seven-demand list after the Satya Niketan PG collapse that killed seven. Official account reiterated that junior-officer suspensions do not address the underlying problem.

- Independent criminal probe of owner–politician nexus; alleged PG mafia.
- Time-bound engineering-grade structural audit of schools, colleges and student housing; seal illegal builds; penalise owners; rehabilitate students.
- Publish within 48 hours all records of 13 district committees set up after the 3 June Hauz Rani incident: membership, inspection counts, notices, seals, prosecutions, and whether Satya Niketan was surveyed.
- Public searchable database of sanctioned, safe student establishments.
- Government hostels for DU: cited capacity ~7,000 against lakhs of students.
- Compensation: ₹1 crore per dead student’s family; ₹20 lakh for injured.
- Ministerial accountability of Delhi Urban Development and Education Minister Ashish Sood over winding down of the 13 committees.
